MCU Timeline is a free, unofficial fan guide. This page sets out who owns what, how posters are used, what we do (and don't) collect, and how to ask for something to be removed.

An unofficial, non-commercial fan project

This site is made by a fan, for fans who want to find their way through the Marvel films and series. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Marvel Entertainment, Marvel Studios, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Studios, Netflix or The Movie Database (TMDB).

The site is free to use and makes no money: there are no ads, paid features, affiliate links or sponsorships, and none are planned.

Trademarks

Marvel, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, and all related titles, characters and logos are trademarks of Marvel Characters, Inc. and/or The Walt Disney Company. Spider-Man film titles are also associated with Sony Pictures, and the X-Men and Fantastic Four films released before 2019 with 20th Century Studios. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

These names are used only to identify the films and series being listed, which is a descriptive use. The site does not use any studio logo, and its own branding is deliberately distinct.

Posters & images

Official posters are © their respective copyright holders (principally Marvel Studios / Disney, Sony Pictures and 20th Century Studios). They are shown for identification only, as small thumbnails, and remain entirely the property of their owners.

  • Posters are provided by the TMDB API and loaded directly from TMDB's image servers. This site does not download, store, modify or redistribute any poster files.
  • Every title links to its official TMDB page from the Full Order view.
  • If an image can't be shown, the site falls back to an original generated graphic that contains no studio artwork.
The Movie Database (TMDB)

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Poster images and title metadata are supplied by TMDB under its API Terms of Use for non-commercial projects.

Text & data

Release dates, phases and the connections between titles are factual information compiled for this guide. The one-line descriptions are original, spoiler-light summaries written for this site; no studio synopses, scripts, trailers or clips are reproduced. Upcoming dates are best estimates and may change.

Privacy

  • No accounts, cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.
  • The watch tracker saves your ticks only in your own browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using "Reset" on the tracker, removes it.
  • Poster images load from TMDB's servers, so TMDB receives standard request details such as your IP address, as with any image on the web. See TMDB's privacy policy.
  • The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes basic request data to deliver and protect it.

Takedown & correction requests

If you are a rights holder (or represent one) and want any image, name or text removed or changed, please get in touch. Valid requests will be acted on promptly, normally within 48 hours, with no argument. Please include the page address and what you'd like changed.

Corrections to dates or titles are welcome too.
